Minimum Prerequisites:

  1. 22 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent.

  2. Basic familiarity of the human anatomy and physiology.

  3. A valid Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Certification is recommended but not necessary.

  4. Current CPR Certification is required when submitting the examination.

Requirements for Fit For Birth Pre-Post Natal Exercise Specialist Certification:

  1. Receive and review all your materials.

  2. Complete the written certification exam. Written exam includes short answer open ended questions and case studies.

  3. Complete the practical demonstration. The practical demonstration may be accomplished through photographs or video. Detailed instructions will be included with your certification program.

  4. You will receive study material weekly for the first month and you then have 3 months to take the certification exam.  90% is required to pass your certification exam. Fit For Birth holds the highest level of standards.

Re-testing:

  1. You must receive a passing grade of 90% or better to receive certification.

  2. If you do not meet this minimum requirement you will be mailed your exam with the questions you missed indicated in red. You will be given the opportunity to correct your answers one time, within a 60 day time period.

  3. You will not be issued your certificate until you have fully met this requirement.
